Embroider fleece jackets with logo — for companies, clubs and outdoor teams

Direct-Answer: Embroider and print fleece jackets at ShirtStore from 1 piece. We finish Regatta TRF532 Thor III (280 g/m², anti-pilling), TRF549 Micro Zip Neck, James & Nicholson JN049 workwear microfleece, Result R905X Polartherm and B&C ID.501 Fleece. Embroidery is the dominant technique (print adheres poorly to fleece loops); for detailed logos we recommend DTF print. Weight classes 200 / 300 / 450 g/m². Volume discount 3% to 32%, delivery 5–10 working days DE.

You're looking for fleece jackets with company logo, club crest or crew print — for the workshop crew of your electrical business, the hiking or shooting club, the warehouse staff of your logistics company, the next outdoor off-site of your SaaS firm, or the fire-brigade committee? Fleece is the most economical mid- to outer-layer: warm, lightweight, quick-drying and unproblematic to embroider. ShirtStore embroiders and prints fleece jackets from 1 piece in our facility in Berlin — with professional embroidery for sharp logo contours and DTF print for detailed multi-colour motifs, with cross-model volume tiering from 3% to 32%.

How to design your fleece jacket

    1. Choose the modelRegatta TRF532 Thor III (280 g/m² workwear classic), TRF549 Micro Zip Neck (half-zip as layer), women's variant TRF565, James & Nicholson JN049 workwear microfleece, Result R905X Polartherm, B&C ID.501.
    2. Set the weight class — 200 g/m² (light, transitional layer), 300 g/m² (standard for club and company), 450 g/m² (heavyweight for outdoor and forestry).
    3. Upload logo — vector (SVG, AI, EPS) preferred for embroidery, 300-dpi PNG with transparent background for DTF print.
    4. Choose finishing — embroidery (standard for chest and back logo), DTF print (for detailed multi-colour logos, photo logos, crests with fine lines).
    5. Specify quantity and order — from 1 piece possible, volume discount from 3 pieces. 5–10 working days delivery DE from print release.

Fleece models and weight classes — what for what?

Fleece is polyester knit fabric with brushed surface on both sides that traps air to keep warm. Three weight classes cover the entire need.

Weight Fabric thickness Typical models Use
    200 g/m² light Regatta TRF549, J&N JN049, B&C ID.501 indoor layer, SaaS office, light transition
300 g/m² standard Regatta TRF532 Thor III, Result Polartherm club, company, workshop, outdoor standard
450 g/m² heavy special outdoor models, forestry/construction suppliers forestry, winter construction, heavyweight outdoor

200 g/m² microfleece is light and packable — ideal as a layer under a softshell or hardshell. For the SaaS office world and tech-conference booth crews often the right choice.

300 g/m² is the standard for workwear, clubs and outdoor: warm enough for the transitional season as outer layer, light enough to wear while working, robust against mid-layer wear. The Regatta TRF532 Thor III is the most-embroidered fleece jacket in this segment — see our dedicated brand page with model depth.

450 g/m² heavyweight fleece is the outer-layer option for winter construction, forestry, landscaping in winter, site management on the construction site in the cold season. Often combined with hi-vis stripes or a bodywarmer.

Finishing: embroidery vs. DTF on fleece

The fleece surface is brushed — tiny polyester loops stand out from the fabric. This makes embroidery easy and printing difficult. Three techniques are sensible, one of them clearly dominant.

    • EmbroideryRecommendation No. 1 for fleece jackets. We use denser thread (Madeira 40 standard, optionally 30 for coarser contours) and a stable backing. The embroidery locks between the loops and delivers a sharp, durable logo look. Chest logo left up to 10 × 8 cm, back logo up to 20 × 15 cm. Lasts 50+ washes at 30–40 °C. Multi-colour logos up to 12 colours per position feasible.
    • DTF print — The only sensible print option on fleece. Low-temp transfer at 110–125 °C, special foil also adheres to the brushed surface. Useful for detailed multi-colour logos, photo logos, crests with fine lines that would be costly in embroidery. Up to A4 format on the back possible.
    • Flex print — Limited use, as flex foil adheres less well on the brushed fleece surface than on cotton. For very small single-colour logos and lettering up to 5 × 3 cm possible, long-term not as durable as embroidery.

What we don't recommend: Classic screen printing (destroys fleece structure, pigment does not adhere to the loops), sublimation (only works on smooth polyester, not on brushed fleece), plastisol transfer (too hard and heavy on soft fleece).

    Rule of thumb:

    • One- to three-colour, classic company or club logo → embroidery
    • Multi-colour gradient, photo logo, very fine crest detail → DTF print
    • Very small single-colour logo, one-off action → flex (or just embroidery)

    Anti-pilling and care

Pilling refers to the formation of small fibre nodules on the fleece surface — an optical issue that does not affect the lifespan of the jacket, but weakens the premium impression.

Anti-pilling treatment means that the polyester yarn is thermally or chemically fixed before knitting, so that microfibres tear less and roll up less into nodules. Premium models like the Regatta TRF532 Thor III are explicitly declared as anti-pilling fleece; most Result and B&C models are also anti-pilling treated.

Care of printed and embroidered fleece jackets:

    • Wash at maximum 30–40 °C in the gentle programme (inside out, zip closed)
    • Low water movement — spin at 1,000 rpm or less
    • No fabric softener — clogs the fleece loops and reduces the warming air pockets
    • No tumble dryer above 60 °C — fleece melts or clumps at high heat
    • Ironing — do not iron embroidery and DTF print directly. If fleece should become smoother, from the inside at low temperature with a cotton cloth in between
    • Store lying flat or hanging — do not fold strongly directly after washing, otherwise pressure marks form

With correct care, embroidery lasts 50+ washes and DTF print also 50+ washes. Anti-pilling treatment slows pilling formation by factor 2–3 compared to standard fleece, but does not eliminate it completely.
