Women's crews often order with slim fit, men's crews with regular fit, mixed crews with unisex.

- Men: Russell Heavy R-180M or Stedman Classic-T ST2000
- Unisex for mixed crews: Stedman Classic-T ST2000 (fits both well)
Size charts per model in the configurator. Stanley/Stella and B&C run narrower, Fruit of the Loom slightly looser. For mixed orders, ask everyone's sizes up front.
Town-fest shirts — make the local crew visible
Town-fest orders typically come from a citizens' association, heritage club or shooting fraternity. Layout standard: town-fest logo or coat-of-arms on the left chest (8 × 8 cm), sponsor logos on the back (max. 30 × 40 cm). We build the sponsor layout on request (price on request).
Town-fest set pricing
| Quantity | Chest logo, 1 colour (print net/pc.) | + sponsor back, 1 colour (print net/pc.) |
|---|---|---|
| 20-set | €3.32 (digital print) | + €5.84 (digital print) |
| 50-set | €1.93 + €20 setup (screen print) | + €1.93 + €20 setup (screen print) |
| 100-set | €1.16 + €20 setup (screen print) | + €1.16 + €20 setup (screen print) |
Print prices net, plus VAT, excluding the shirt, for white shirts. Below 50 pieces we print digitally without setup (chest logo up to 15 × 10 cm, sponsor back up to 45 × 35 cm), from 50 pieces in screen print. On coloured shirts (e.g. black, royal blue) screen print needs a white underbase as an extra screen: a 1-colour motif is charged as 2-colour (50-set €2.20, 100-set €1.43 per side), and setup rises to €40 per side (€20 per screen). Setup is charged on every order. You'll see the shirt price with volume discount live in the configurator.
Town fest in 4 weeks → order now. Peak May–September is tight — express is only possible on request and costs more. For citizens' associations we offer invoice ordering via clubs.
Shooting-festival shirts — tradition with modern print
Shooting festivals (Schützenfest) are the largest summer tradition in North Rhine-Westphalia, Lower Saxony, Westphalia and Bavaria. Parades, king's shooting and crowning ceremonies — shirt tradition goes back to the 1980s. Layout standard: shooting-club coat-of-arms front, royal couple's names back (often with year).
Recommended: Stedman Classic-T ST2000 (dignified, classic cut) or Mantis M01 (heritage tee, soft grip for older shooters). Screen print with Pantone heraldic colours or DTG for detailed coats-of-arms.
Club-style invoice ordering via clubs — volume discount on the shirts from 3 pieces (3%), standard delivery in 7–10 working days.
Local street-party t-shirts — the quick-win occasion
Local street parties are the smallest but most personal festival form: neighbourhood initiatives, residents' associations, street-party organising teams typically order 10–30 shirts with neighbourhood name large, year small, small sponsor block on the back.
Recommended: Mantis M01 or Stedman ST2000 in one to two colours. Setup simple, pricing transparent in the configurator — at 10–30 pieces we print digitally without setup. With multiple sponsors we build a layout proposal on request (price on request) — you say how many sponsors and in which hierarchy, we deliver a PDF for approval.
Carnival group shirts — the Q1 season peak
Carnival group shirts have their own page → Carnival occasion hub. Q1 peak (January–February), recommendation for crews of 50 people or more: Fruit of the Loom Valueweight, single-colour screen print (screen print is available from 50 pieces, smaller crews are printed digitally). Crew sizes 30–80 people typical in Cologne, Düsseldorf, Mainz.

Printing techniques for festival shirts — summer sun and sweat
UV stability, sweat resistance and dirt tolerance are the three hardness criteria for festival prints. Recommendations:
- Screen print — most durable, UV-stable, ideal for 1–3 colour festival logos from 50 pieces. 50+ washes at 60 °C without fading.
- Digital print (DTG) — full-colour festival motifs and photo print from 1 piece. With UV-intense summer sun, light fading after 30 washes.
- Flex print — perfect for crisp lettering with hard edges, very UV-stable and sweat-proof.
Organic fabrics like B&C Inspire are a good choice for eco-conscious crews on summer festival meadows. More in the printing technique comparison.

Frequently asked questions about festival and event crew shirts
Which shirt is best for summer festivals?
For summer festivals we recommend B&C Inspire #T190 (organic, 190 gsm, cools slightly more than standard cotton) or Stedman Classic-T ST2000 as the cheaper classic. For metal or hard-condition festivals like Wacken pick Russell Heavy R-180M (more robust, mosh-pit resistant).
What does a printed festival shirt cost in a 10-set?
In a 10-set the print runs as digital print (DTG/DTF) without setup — screen print starts at 50 pieces. The print costs, net plus VAT, per piece and print position €3.32 for a motif up to 15 × 10 cm, €4.16 up to 25 × 20 cm, €5.00 up to 40 × 25 cm and €5.84 up to 45 × 35 cm. A sponsor back is a second print position, so up to 30 × 40 cm it adds €5.84 per piece. Plus the shirt — you'll see the total live in the configurator. Full pricing overview at cheap t-shirt printing.
How long does delivery take for festival crew shirts?
Standard 7–10 working days incl. finishing. Express 3–5 working days on request. In peak season May–September plan 4 weeks lead time. Tracking via DHL.
What's the difference between a town-fest shirt and a festival shirt?
Town-fest shirts typically have town-fest logo plus sponsor back (citizens'-association layout). Festival crew shirts have creative crew slogans. Town-fest crews often 50–100 people, festival crews 6–20. Model recommendation similar (Stedman ST2000), technique at town fest mostly screen print due to quantity.
Can I print sponsor logos on the back?
Yes — standard at town fest and shooting festival. We build the sponsor layout on request (price on request): you say how many sponsors and in which hierarchy, we deliver a PDF for approval. Max. 30 × 40 cm print area, up to 8 sponsors typical.
From which quantity is there a volume discount?
Volume discount on the shirts starts at 3 pieces (3 % → 10 % → 15 % → 25 % → 30 % → 32 % at 3/20/50/100/200/500); there is no volume discount on print or setup. From 50 pieces, switching to screen print pays off. For town-fest orders above 100 pieces, contact us for a custom quote.
Which organic shirts are there for eco-conscious crews?
B&C Inspire #T190 (190 gsm) is the organic recommendation for festival crews. Stanley/Stella Creator is the premium organic variant (GOTS certified, Fair Wear). Both printable from 1 piece.
Do you print on tank tops or polo shirts for festival crews?
Yes — we finish tank tops (e.g. B&C Wonder Bio), polos (Stedman Polo Selectprint), hoodies and caps with the same techniques as t-shirts. Tank tops are perfect for summer festivals at 30+ °C, polos for slightly more refined crews (club, shooting fraternity).
