R503X — Recycled Robust Zipped Safety Hoody
290 gsm in 100 % recycled polyester (REPREVE®) with brushed fleece on the inside: considerably heavier than a typical promo hoodie and built to get through a winter on site. Fitted with a YKK zip, a drawcord hood, a zipped chest pocket and ribbing at waist and cuffs.
It comes in Fluorescent Orange and Fluorescent Yellow. Important when choosing: the certification to EN ISO 20471:2013+A1:2016 class 2 and to RIS-3279-TOM class 2 is stated in the product data for Fluo Orange. If the standard has to be met, that is the colour to pick.
The finishing area on chest and back is generous — not a given on a high-visibility garment, where reflective strips usually cut the usable area apart.

Which finishing fits the Result hoodie?
The R503X is all polyester — that rules out some processes and makes others the obvious choice:
- Embroidery is the most durable option on the 290 gsm fleece for a company logo on the chest and survives everyday work laundering unharmed.
- DTF printing is the process of choice for multi-colour artwork on polyester, because the transfer film bonds independently of the fibre.
- Transfer printing suits lettering and single-colour back artwork.
On a certified high-visibility garment one more rule applies: the finishing must not reduce the fluorescent area below the required minimum. We therefore place artwork between the reflective strips and check the area before production — just send us the artwork via the bulk inquiry.
