How easy it is to design your bag
Four steps, no minimum order, transparent prices. You see the per-piece final price already in the configurator.
- Choose model — Cotton bag, tote, drawstring, daypack or sports bag. Filterable by colour and size.
- Set quantity — One piece or thousand. Quantity discount applied automatically.
- Upload or design logo — Vector (SVG, AI, EPS) preferred for screen printing. We check the file and get back to you.
- Order and decorate — We print or embroider and deliver as standard in 7–10 working days.
If you do not have a print-ready logo, our graphics team handles the preparation — price on request.
Which decoration suits the bag?
Bags are the prime example for affordable promotional runs — screen printing is the standard process here. But depending on the application, other techniques are useful too.
- Screen printing — The standard process for bags, available from 50 pieces; for single-colour motifs cheaper than digital printing from 100 pieces. Brilliant colours, very durable, one to four colours. Proven on Westford Mill and B&C cotton bags.
- Digital printing — For complex, multi-colour designs and photos. Economical from 1 piece. Ideal for small editions and personal gifts.
- DTF printing — For polyester backpacks like Halfar, since screen printing and DTG do not adhere well there. Robust feel, vibrant colours. DTF runs as digital printing with us, at the same prices.
- Embroidery — Premium decoration for high-end cotton bags, mainly in the brand and resale segment.

Quantity discount — pricing tiers
The tiers apply to the goods only (the bag), never to decoration or set-up:

Example calculation for a Westford Mill W101 cotton bag in natural with single-side screen print (1 colour, approx. A4): the bag is priced as on the product page, less the tier above. The screen print is added without discount and is only available from 50 pieces. Because natural is not white, the white underbase counts as a second screen — the price row is "2 screens": €2.20 per piece at 50–99 pieces, €1.43 at 100–249, €1.10 at 250–499 and €0.94 at 500–999 pieces. On top comes the set-up at €20 per screen, here €40 on every order. Each additional colour is another screen: two colours on natural cost €1.65 per piece at 100–249 pieces plus €60 set-up. All prices net, plus VAT.

Example 1 — Trade-show stand, 250 cotton bags A Hannover-based machinery manufacturer orders 250 Westford Mill W101 in natural with two-colour screen print (logo + slogan) for the Hannover Messe. Print: 3 screens (2 colours + white underbase on natural) at €1.32 per piece, set-up €60. Print total €390.00 net; plus the bags as on the product page with 30 % off the goods. Lead time: 9 working days. Use case: giveaway at the trade-show stand.
Example 2 — Tech onboarding, 60 daypacks A Munich SaaS startup has 60 Halfar Daypack Notebook in black printed with DTF (single-colour company logo on the front, up to 15 × 10 cm). Print: €2.48 net per piece at the digital-print price, no set-up; plus the backpacks as on the product page with 15 % off the goods. Lead time: 8 working days. Use case: welcome pack for new joiners, including laptop and stationery.
Example 3 — Sustainable label, 120 organic bags A Berlin natural cosmetics brand orders 120 Westford Mill Earthaware Organic in off-white with subtle single-colour screen print. Print: 1 screen (Off White needs no underbase) at €1.16 per piece, set-up €20. Print total €159.20 net; plus the bags as on the product page with 25 % off the goods. Lead time: 9 working days. Use case: sale in the online shop as a reusable bag.
